Cancellation & Returns
All products returns need to be initiated within 5 business days when the product was delivered to you. ‘Initiated’ means greatindianmela.com should receive an email with the reason for return along with return shipping details.
Once the returns has been initiated via email, the product must reach greatindianmela.com’s Mumbai workplace unused and in original packaging and label within the next 15 business days of when the product was delivered to you.
All costs of returning the products are to be borne by the customer.
Upon receipt of the product, greatindianmela.com will inspect the product and will issue a refund/site credit for the price of the product deducting the shipping cost. In the case where greatindianmela.com sends you an incorrect or damaged product, product will be replaced or refund will be provided for the entire amount including shipping costs.
The site credit will be in form of a unique system generated code that can be used by the customer on next purchase. The credit will have no expiry date and is not transferrable.
Please ensure you make arrangements to accept your order on delivery. Should there be no one to accept the delivery; the package is sent to the nearest corier provider office (check your account for courier details) where it will remain for the next 5 days after which it shall be sent back to our Mumbai workplace. We shall not provide refund for orders that were not collected. Extra shipment would be charged to send the same products back.
You can cancel your order via your account on website or else writing an email to us. All orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placing the order. Any cancellation post 24 hours will not be accepted.
• Refund would be provided on all products except the ones which possess hygiene issues or are sold on non-returnable basis by the vendor. Please refer our delivery & returns policy on the product detail page.
• On cancellation of order or return of goods the customer would be provided a site credit or money refund depending on management discretion.
If the customer is eligible for refund:
• Refund will be provided within five working days from the receipt and verification of the parcel at our Mumbai work place or on cancellation of order.
Modes of Refund:
• Payments for order made through PayPal, Plastic Cards or NEFT, refund would be provided back on the same account that was used for placing an order.
• For any other mode of payment the refund would be provided through NEFT, Cheque or Demand Draft.
